Same Day Dental Crowns vs. Traditional Crowns in Stafford, TX

There are many benefits to visiting our Stafford dentist office for dental crowns, including –

#1 You can leave our Stafford, TX office with a restored tooth.

Many people do not realize when damaging a tooth for the first time, that the process of restoring it can take several appointments.  When you receive traditional crowns, measurements, and an impression will need to be taken of your mouth so that dental crowns can be created in a dental lab.  Depending on how busy the lab is, this could take weeks.  This means that you will not have a fully restored tooth until that time.  With CEREC technology, your tooth is restored in one visit – meaning that you will leave with a fully restored and usable tooth.

#2 There is no need for a temporary crown.

When you get traditional crowns in the 77477 area, your tooth will be prepared on the first visit which means that a portion of the enamel will need to be removed.  Since your new crown will not be ready to be placed, a temporary one must be worn.  Temporary crowns can be terribly inconvenient since they are designed to be removed and can easily slip out of place when eating or brushing your teeth.

#3 Your dental crown will look natural.

Dental crowns created using CEREC technology look incredibly natural and are equally durable as those made using traditional methods.  Even though the placing of dental crowns takes attention and care, the entire process is done with the level of precision that you can only derive from a software solution.

#4 You can improve your appearance in addition to restoring a tooth.

CEREC dental crowns can be used to restore damaged teeth but they can also be used to improve the appearance of your smile.  For example, if you want to close gaps in between your teeth or you have certain teeth that are not the right shape or size, they can be fixed using dental crowns.  We have other ways to address them as well, but many of our Stafford patients are using this fast solution to improve their smile on a deadline.  If you are getting married next week or have an important job interview, we can fix your teeth in one visit to our same day dentist office.
